The organizing committee invites authors to submit abstracts for on-site presentation within any of the topic listed below. Submissions are sought for oral and poster presentations. The scientific committee will select the high relevance abstracts to present as Oral Communication. Additional details are outlined below:

· All abstracts must be written in English.

· Abstracts should be up to 300 words, written in English and uploaded on the conference online system and only there, starting from the 15th of September 2026.

· The presenting author must be registered for the Congress.

· All accepted papers will be published as conference proceedings in the IOBC-WPRS Bulletin. Full papers (4 pages) must adhere to the IOBC-WPRS submission guidelines:

· Full papers must be submitted by email to Jesús Mercado Blanco (jesus.mercado@eez.csic.es) and to the conference email address (info@iobc-olives2027.org).

Oral Communications

• Oral Communications will have a duration of 12 mins of on-site presentation and 3 mins of questions.
• The presentation must be done in English.
• All presentations must be uploaded as PDF or PowerPoint before the sessions on the computer at the venue. The use of own laptops will not be allowed.

Posters

• Posters must be written in English and printed in vertical format using the following measures: A0 portrait format.
• Posters should be placed in their corresponding panels at registration time and should remain there until the closing ceremony of the Congress. The corresponding panels will be communicated by email to all corresponding authors a few days before the Congress.
• During the poster walk session, the presenting author must stand close to the poster to present it and answer questions from other researchers.
